An entry into Breathless Jam 2

We are lost, shipwrecked on islands adrift in a void.

It was an exodus from a dying world – bereft of any pure Worldsong – a world ruined when the Ascending Empire tore itself away in the Final Rite. The insidious Silence crept forth from the great rift scars, devouring hills, mountains, forests and valleys; draining the rivers and lakes – even whole seas run dry.

Extinction loomed on the horizon. The Silence consumes.

So we boarded the last great skyship. We plunged into the void, in a desperate search for a world that had not lost its Song. A world we could call home.

What we found?

Islands – broken shards of a world, drifting in the void.

Our skyship run aground on these shards, most of us dead, low on food, strange creatures prowling in the wilderness around us – we are left to struggle for survival in a strange, wild land.

Yet, here, the Worldsong resonates, strong and true.

Though these broken Worldshards are perilous, they may be our salvation.

The bravest Survivors among us set forth into the wilderness, to struggle against the untamed lands, to explore the mysteries of these lands, to connect with the Worldsong that causes life to flourish – to find a home.

This game is on an entire different level of the usual Breathless game. I am amazed at the detail of the world building in this. It is a steal to offer it PWYW, it is worth much more
